[//edit] OMG I JUST GOT INTO WASH U!!!!!!!!!
Just after I finished typing this entry, I got a call from the dean of the college to inform me that I made one of the 38 finalists of Danforth Scholarship and have gained admission to WASH U! And they are flying me down there during the March 27th weekend! AHHHHHHHHHH I’m freakishly happy right now
[//end edit]
For Valentine’s Day, I got a few carnations (flowers) from my friends through a NHS sponsored carnation sale, they were all red and very beautiful. This Thursday, when I passed by the NHS sponsor’s room, I noticed people still picking out flowers, so I went in and asked why. Apparently, there are still a lot of flowers left that were never picked up, so they are pretty much for anyone’s grab now, and as the huge flower-lover that I am, I grabbed a bunch

[AHHH, my crappy picture-taking skills...I promise they look beautiful and unwilted in real life.]
Anyways, this morning, I had an interview for XX college at a local coffee shop. My interviewer was a middle-aged man (married, children, but not very old) who graduated from XX college in 1997. I found out that after he graduated with a history degree, he worked for a while at Wall Street and then went to Harvard to get his MBA. Now he works as the chief operating officer for a major Indianapolis racing team.
Throughout the whole interview, I was thinking how lucky I would be if I can lead a life like his. He just looked so content and happy about what he is and where he is now, and he gave me a really warm feeling. So after the interview, I thought I would write down my goals for now, and maybe come back a few years later to look at them and see which ones I’ve actually accomplished.
1.
Get into a good college- Good as in prestige, tradition, and quality. I’ve done all I could with the applications, so now it’s judgment time.
2. Friend? - Keep in touch with a few of my close friends now and make new ones.
3. Get a man - Find myself someone who will love me despite all my quirkiness. I have a weird qualification - must be taller than me.
4. Attend a prestigious med school - Since I was 10, I knew that becoming a doctor is the only future for me. Some people say dreams change, but mine sure didn’t.
5. Get into shape - I run regularly now, all to prepare myself for the long-hours of surgery and operations in my future. I really want to become a surgeon [although I imagine that I'll have a hard time convincing my parents], and standing for six hours straight is one of the many qualifications.
6. Learn languages & culture - Even though I’m fluent in Chinese, I want to learn more about Chinese history, literature, and all those things I missed out on after moving here. It would also be nice if I can speak Spanish 100% fluently, since right now I have to think for a while before a sentence comes out. I also want to learn Korean *sigh*, all I know right now are the alphabet and some basic phrases![]()
I’m finally better, though still have constant pain in the throat and a lot of mucus in my nose and throat as well
A last piece of sitely news, I added 30-some icons featuring mostly DBSK and Super Junior, you can find them HERE. And I absolutely must say this (hehe, for Krazim): I WANT TO SEE THE SUPER SHOW! GIVE.ME.DVD.NOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you achieve your goals. I don’t like labeling friends, but finding a man and getting into shape sound good to me!

Randomly stumbled upon your site, and the words “WASH U!” caught my eye… Wash U as in the one in St. Louis, MO? That’s right by where I live! I thought about going there, but I didn’t want to stay in St. Louis. Congrats!
Aww, thanks guys so much! I really appreciate it
Kaylee - it’s not that I like to label friends, but more that I want to find someone who can be really really close to me
Phoenix - Haha, I’m sure you have goals; maybe they haven’t quite surfaced yet
Christine - Thanks! I think I’ll be okay with the cold, since I’m from Indiana, which is further north than Missouri, and I love cold weather [I'm crazy, I know XD].
Faye - XD, want to give me password to your protected post?
Amber - Yep, it’s the one in MO. I heard that the campus is really beautiful and all. Thanks!
